Founded by Me Manal Hamoud in 2021, HMD Avocats is Quebec’s premier online law firm specializing in Canadian immigration and business law. We combine traditional legal expertise with digital convenience, offering practical and effective services accessible anywhere.

HMD assists families and corporations with immigration and citizenship applications, including temporary relocation and cross-border transfers for professionals and specialized foreign workers. Our clients include health workers, IT companies, multinationals, scientists, executives, and entrepreneurs.

Manal, a member of the Quebec Bar since September 2021, has over six years of experience in immigration and business law, gained at renowned firms in Montreal. Before earning her law degree from the University of Montreal, she studied psychology and sociology, reflecting her deep interest in human relations. Her love for human connection, combined with her passion for law, naturally led her to specialize in immigration law. Manal also focuses on business law, particularly on business start-ups and providing support to companies, including the hiring of foreign workers to meet their staffing needs.

Early in her career, Manal observed that in-person legal services often added geographic and temporal barriers, complicating access to justice. Through HMD, she is committed to making legal services more accessible by offering high-quality, competitively priced online services.

Guided by the belief that faith can move mountains, Manal is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their immigration goals in Canada and succeed in their business projects.
